Care Medicine, and Pain Medicine, University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Dr. Nortjé’s work focuses on end-of-life issues, goal-concordant care, and the plight of vulnerable communities. A widely published author with over 100 research publications, and a cross-global collaborator, Dr. Nortjé is a leader and visionary, dedicated to improving the experience of healthcare. He is also passionate about mentoring the next generation of providers to integrate ethical thinking into clinical practice. His talk, aimed at current and future healthcare providers, will focus on the landscape of healthcare delivery in today's world, and how we can all prepare ourselves for what is to come.
