Cartoons are not just for children’s entertainment–they offer insight into juvenile minds and those who hope to shape them, for good or ill. Whether selling cereal, toys, movie tickets, or hamburgers, or conveying a narrative or imparting a moral, cartoons are both a commercial means and a form of artistic expression. This exhibition considers the joy, energy, menace, and creative potential of cartoon imagery in the work of three contemporary artists.
