Dr. Yaryna Borenko is a Research Fellow with the Ukrainian Scholars Initiative at Purdue University. Her talk explores the hurdles faced by human rights activists and organizations in war-torn Ukraine, highlighting the challenges of their work in this context. These challenges include changing attitudes to the understanding of peace, national identity and global dimension of human rights.
