About this Event
All are invited to join a group of students in a walk from the Freeman Center to the Pope Chapel to observe Martin Luther King Jr. Day through the words of Rev. Willard Maxwell, president of the Newport News NAACP and pastor of the New Beech Grove Baptist Church. The walk begins after the conclusion of the MLK Day event at the Freeman Center.
